Many years ago (in 2000), a few of us met at a local parking lot to hang out and talk about Z's. If we had 8 Z's show up, it was a great turn out. We kept on spreading the word over time and now we have 40+ members. In March 2004, we Finally decided that we needed to officially organize and started monthly dues. We created a bank account, filed with the State of CA so we are tax exempt and have a resale permit. We are also a member of the ZCCA. Like I said, the best part about organizing are the people. A great group of people from every group of society. Also, sponsors help you out. We are sponsored by three local Nissan dealers, generally 25% off OEM parts (if not more:)) plus we are sponsored by C Park from Powertrix and Mitch from AMZ Performance who give our members great discounts on aftermarket parts. I'd say the club cruises are the best. There is nothing like seeing 20Z's cruising through the hills as a legitimate group and hanging out for lunch.
